Lets for Life

Lets for Life is a new specialist housing provider focused on providing housing for people with learning disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves their own home and a place where they feel safe. We are here to make the whole process as simple as possible.

Our initial mission is to work with people who require specialised supported housing. With the active programme of closure of in-patient institutions, there is an increasing need to support people to move back safely to their local community. We get involved at a high level discussing with individuals, families, CCG's and Local Authorities and Care Providers and look at housing options for people who are currently in or at risk of being sent to Assessment and Treatment Units.

We want to work with a range of Local Authorities, good support and care providers who understand and work to the values of Person Centred Planning and work towards the REACH standards and the Real Tenancy Test. Two of our directors are the original and current authors of these widely used housing standards.

We listen to and work closely with individuals, families, friends, support providers and local authorities to make sure that we understand the needs, passions, hobbies and all the other information about someone which can really make the difference. We offer community-based housing options and support.

Through its founding charity, the Cameron Charitable Trust, Lets for Life work alongside private landlords and investors to create sustainable and suitable housing options.

We are a Private Registered Provider with the Regulator of Social Housing. Lets for Life already have a number of properties in the South West region and North West and are developing in these areas.
